LAPD Devonshire PALS Annual Toy Drive

December 17 2014

In the giving spirit of the holiday season, Martini, Iosue & Akpovi donated to and then volunteered with the LAPD Devonshire PALS at their annual toy drive.  On the morning of December 13, 2014, hundreds of families from the surrounding neighborhood arrived at the Greig Smith LAPD Devonshire Youth Center.  When the doors opened children were able to pick their own gift, have a snack and even meet Santa Claus.  Many of these families are living at near poverty levels and PALS estimated that nearly 1,000 children attended the event.

With many different outreach programs available throughout the year, PALS is dedicated to developing character in youth, reducing juvenile crime and creating a safer community.  We are proud to have participated in such a successful event that brought happiness to so many families.  For more information about the LAPD Devonshire PALS, visit their website here: http://devonshire-pals.org/
